Amendments as of August 19, 2021

Amending Privacy Policy we intended to clarify some of our existing procedures and to introduce some new information, including in relation to:

  • data that we collect and process when providing payment initiation and Open Banking services; and
  • how we use cookies.

Changes in Price List

Changes in private customers' Price List as of April 1, 2022
We have added price details for our new Service Plans and for our Payment Initiation Service (PIS); and have also updated the Account maintenance fee for personal customers that are not EU residents, and the fee for debiting funds in accordance with a PLAIS instruction
Changes in business customers' Price List as of April 1, 2022
We have added price details for our new Service Plans and for our Payment Initiation Service (PIS); and have also updated the Account maintenance fee and the fee for debiting funds in accordance with a PLAIS instruction.
Changes in Price List as of June 1, 2024

The changes will apply to our Price List and will take effect from 1 June 2024.

The material changes to the Price List are as follows:

  1. We have updated our prices, and related terms, in the following sections of the Price List: “Administration of Contomobile Accounts”, “Payments between Contomobile Accounts”, “Payments in EUR” (which has been renamed as “SEPA payments”), “International payments” (which has beenrenamed as“International (non-SEPA) payments”), Crediting of funds, “Other payment-related services”, “Statements, certificates, notifications” (which has been renamed as “Statements and certificates”), “Service plans”.
  2. We have introduced a new fee for “Administration of funds after the Contomobile Account has been closed" in the“Administration of Contomobile Accounts” section.
  3. We have removed the following sections of the Price List: “Multi-Currency Accounts”, “Exchange Rates”.
  4. We have added a new section that relates to “Payment collection by payment cards”.

Changes in Terms of Use

Changes in Terms of Use as of February 1, 2021

We have updated the Contomobile Terms to clarify certain terms and how they will apply to your use of our services. The changes are intended to make our terms easier to understand, and principally clarify:

  • the steps that we may take if we consider that it is necessary for us to ask you to update your “Know Your Customer” data;
  • your obligations in relation to your Security Credentials, and how you should contact us to report a security issue;
  • how you may download a copy of your statement, and the minimum period that Payment Transaction Data will be available via the Contomobile App or Self-Service Portal; and
  • how we acknowledge complaints and, for the benefit of customers in the United Kingdom, to provide some information about the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The updated Contomobile Terms will come into effect on 1 February 2021.

Changes in Terms of Use for private customers as of April 1, 2022
  • We have introduced additional terms governing our new Service Plans (clause 5);

  • clarified the terms relating to postponed execution of a payment order (clause 8.3);

  • simplified our terms so that they apply to all business customers (this means that the Terms of Use no longer distinguish between Corporate Customers and Small Businesses – which may affect: the period of time that you have to report an unauthorised or incorrectly executed transaction (clause 12.11); liability (clause 13); the application of the corporate-opt out (clause 17); and, for customers located in the United Kingdom, complaints (clause 18.7)).

Changes in Terms of Use for business customers as of April 1, 2022
  • We have introduced additional terms governing our new Service Plans (clause 5);
  • clarified the terms relating to postponed execution of a payment order (clause 8.3);
  • made a change to our complaints procedures that may affect customers located in the United Kingdom (clause 17.7).

Changes in Terms of Use for private customers as of June 12, 2024

Changes came into effect on 12 June 2024 and are as follows:
1. We have amended Clauses 7.5, 7.7 and 7.8, in relation to prohibited countries, approved currencies, and currency exchange operations.
2. The provision that Contomobile may be specified as the payer when a Payment Transfer is made to an account held with a bank or other Payment Service Provider by means other than a SEPA transfer [...] (previously Clause 7.11), has been removed.
3. The statement that a Contomobile account cannot be used to borrow money has been removed from Clause 7.13.
4. In Clauses 8.2. and 8.5., the times when Payment Orders are deemed to have been received have been updated.
5. In Clause 8.3. the conditions whereby the execution of a Payment Order may be postponed have been clarified.
6. The provision that the authorised Payment Order may be cancelled it the case of a Payment Transaction initiated by the Payee or the Payee's Payment Service Provider, after the Customer has given Consent to the Payee or it’s Payment Service Provider to perform the Payment Transaction (former Clause 9.4.2), has been removed.
7. The provisions of Clause 9.6. in relation to funds returned in respect of a cancelled Payment Order have been clarified.
8. Clause 10.7. has been updated to clarify the procedure for notification of a temporary suspension of access to the Contomobile App, Customer Self-Service Portal, User Profile and/or Contomobile Account, suspension the provision of some or all of Services, re-setting or assigning a new Password(s) or blocking / re-issuing a Payment Instrument associated with Account.
9. The restrictions on the use of our Services at Clause 11.1.7 have been updated and supplemented by a new Clause 11.1.8.
10. Clauses 12.3., 12.5., and 12.6. regarding the procedure by which Contomobile can send notifications to you and have been clarified.
11. In Clause 12.11 the conditions related to reporting unauthorised or incorrectly executed Payment Transactions have been clarified.
12. The provisions of Chapter 13 (Liability) have been updated, taking into account the requirements of the provisions of the Law on Payments of the Republic of Lithuania.
13. Clause 14.5. and 14.6. have been amended to clarify the procedures by which Contomobile will notify you about the suspension, and the revocation of a suspension, of Services.

We have included a definition for our new Service Plans and deleted definitions for Corporate Customer, Micro-Enterprise, Small Business and Small Charity which are no longer used in the Contomobile Terms.

Changes in Complaints

Changes in Complaints as of February 8, 2024

By updating the Complaints handling Policy, we have aim to clarify and simplify the procedures for submitting and handling complaints and provide new information, including:

  • complaints handling free of charge;
  • methods of submitting complaints and languages;
  • the necessary personal data to be provided when submitting a complaint to Contomobile
